WHY IS THIS SO HILARIOUS TO ME?
Just him shaking that kid “LOOK AT IT” moment
Say What Now of the Day: In today’s edition of Santorum Santorum Says: Rape victims who get pregnant “have to make the best out of a bad situation.”
(Also: “I believe and I think the right approach is to accept this horribly created — in the sense of rape — but nevertheless a gift in a very broken way, the gift of human life, and accept what God has given to you.”)
[think.]
What a dick.
I want to see this entire book. I’m assuming this is the same book that 40 pies came from, I sure as fuck hope it is.
oh 4chan.
Our new infographic takes a look at the impact the GOP’s proposed Balanced Budget Amendment could have on you. Scheduled for a vote this week and endorsed by Mitt Romney and his fellow Republican candidates, the amendment could force cuts in everything from education and Medicare to nutrition and health programs for at-risk children.
I mean, seriously. I am so not cool with this.
Fuck you, Hollywood. But more than that I flip the bird to Geisel’s wife who sold the movie rights for a dime.
Perfect.
I don’t know much about botox or vaginas, but that doesn’t seem, from what little I know, like a thing that would particularly enhance the sexytimes.
you’re crazy, jim
i only like artificially enlarged vaginas
I first read this as ‘I BOXED my vagina’ and it made no sense, then I thought about what this would entail and was horrified. Now I’m thinking about it and what good is a non-reactive vagina? Did she botox her actual vagina or just her labia? (For those who don’t remember biology the vagina is the actual canal where the penis goes. Everything else is vulva, what is called the vagina is actually the vulva.
Question: why is scabbard not a more popular euphemism for ‘vagina’ it’s hilarious!
‘cause I’m Bo, yo.
Follow Up of the Day: A Malaysian student named Ashraf (Asyraf) Haziq was walking through Barking, East London, on his way to purchase food with which to break his Ramadan fast, when a group of rioters attacked him and left him in need of serious medical attention. He was eventually helped up by a group of passersby who ended up stealing items from his backpack.
A video of the incident went viral, leading many to wonder what became of Haziq. The Guardian reports that the 20-year-old is presently at the Royal London hospital in Whitechapel awaiting surgery to fix a broken jaw.
A video of Haziq in hospital has been posted online by friends (see below). Expressions of sympathy and support have taken the form of a Twitter hashtag (#getwetllsoonashrafhaziq), and a Tumblr site dedicated to “do[ing] something nice for Ashraf Haziq.”

I’m glad people care about Haziq and are trying to do something positive for him. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior. I hope the police catch and successfully prosecute all of the thieves, I know that’s unlikely, but a decent number of them would do also.
Directed by Peter Berg who seems to have a lacking filmography. I mean, he’s done things, just few things that seem to have gotten big.
Plot:
A story of an international Navy fleet engaged in a very dynamic and intense battle against an alien race known as “The Regents”. The aliens come to planet Earth, on a mission to build a power source in the ocean. Upon their visit, they come in contact with a navy fleet. The film is also purported to show both sides of the story, from the aliens’ perspective, as well as the humans’ so the audience knows exactly where the opponent’s ships are. (wikipedia)
Starring
Taylor Kitsch Alex Harper (has a thing for Sam)
Alexander Skarsgård Stone Shane
Brooklyn Decker Sam Shane
Rihanna Raikes, FBI
Liam Neeson Admiral Shane
Tadanobu Asano
I’m excited for this in the same way I’m excited when I rent an Ed Wood movie. I expect this all to be terrible, god awful, really, but it has an odd potential. Actually, I think it being a Cold War era battle would be more compelling because it would be more relatable to have entirely human actors. Current favorite thing about the known information is that it’s all from the human’s point of view, until Disctrict 9 where early information was from both points of view. The plot says that the narrative will information from both sides so we can know where the ships are, which I’m cool with, but dudebro, where are the alien characters? I want them as developed as interesting as the human characters, well what I assume you’re going to try with the human characters.
Questions I have about the entire poorly planned idea:
All the same, I’m intrigued about this trainwreck. Possibly a thing of beauty for the local $5 theater, will decide next summer. Also Liam Neeson, he should at least be awesome in kicking ass to protect his daughter. Wait, this isn’t Taken…
Ryoichi ‘Keroppy’ Maeda helps the “freaks for the night” of Tokyo get into character by dripping saline into their foreheads for two hours while they depress the center of the swelling, creating the signature “bagelhead” look.
The description sent me back to Crooked Little Vein, thank you, Warren…
Found out about this and had to make a thing about it.
One step forward, two steps back.
Come on, DC. I’m trying to root for you here, but seriously.
She lost both her pants and her knee pads… I actually don’t hate the ‘before’ and I generally don’t like much about Wonder Woman’s costumes, even the top seems vaguely logical.
Bert (via @boingboing). This is terrifying.
Agreed
Why dammit, why? Things nightmares are made of. Fuckin’ a…
