Why do you behave the way that you do?
Recently, I started making this YouTube Documentary in which I would go out and follow a select group of YouTubers for a full day. The idea was to share the other side these people’s lives and show you HOW they make their videos, where they came from, how they got started, blah blah blah. In a way, it’s like taking you on an adventure to SEE how they shoot their videos, and live their lives when the camera turns off. I started doing it as an experiment and wanted to make a series on it, however after showing a few people, everyone was saying “Hey! If you made this into a feature length documentary, I would totally watch this”. A lot of people I showed some of the footage to that wasn’t involved in the YouTube community kind of just shook their heads and said “I had no idea people were doing this as a job! I want to know more!”.
I enjoy video and I’m a nosy son of a gun so learning about the people who vlog and make videos in more ways is interesting and awesome to me. Please Subscribe is a documentary about the YouTube community and it is about 2/3rds of the way there, give what you can, it’ll be appreciated.

this is a video I edited for class the other day. I’m actually really proud of this whole silly operation and I know I got a good grade so eh.

A client was particularly anxious about receiving a video file before the end of the day.
Client: I need another ETA on the upload.
Me: It says there is half an hour left to encode the video, then I’m guessing 10-15 minutes to upload.
Client: Okay, thanks.
Me: Do you need it for a screening tonight or something?
Client: No, we need to Fedex it to someone who doesn’t understand the internet.
As my way of protesting SOPA I posted no content online, but I am a bit narcissistic sometimes and had to talk about myself, so I vlogged instead. It was more difficult to do this mid week than it ever is on the weekend, but I’m also not in class for 4-6 hours every day on the weekend.
I will be getting back to editing the rest of January and hopefully I’ll have something to show for it soon and
My first video edited using the Pinnacle software, I think I’ll look up file sizes to find a smaller one, this video is re than a gig…and will take more than an hour to upload.
This was disjointed as I was not thinking about showing more things or explaining as much and was too embarrassed to actually film in front of my brothers lest they judge me. the video for the third is much more entertaining!
Oh yeah, the car thing, i needed to replace the oxygen sensor, so a simple enough fix. And I got the lug nut replaced.

Just a bit of an update of what I’ve been up to over the past few months. I still need to edit the Rum Diary review, i’ll get that posted sometime soon.
When I sat down to edit this I realized I’ve forgotten how to film myself. After the Rum Diary video the quality of these should kind of improve again, when I remember to start talking when I’m actually looking at the fucking camera. God, so many fails in this video.

Drawing Alphabet in 40 minutes (by Martheworld)
This is a doodle of my girl Alphabet. 40 minutes is pennies in the bucket for a piece. If people want I can/will post the non-timelapsed 40 minutes but I don’t think that would be all that interesting to watch.
I apologize so many times over for my big ass head blocking the camera. The next time I attempt something like this I’ll see how I do with the camera over my right shoulder.
