Use it for every time someone wasn’t believed or nothing changed for the victim, use it because this was a sweet, caring young person who deserved better than this.  I just heard about this this morning and that’s infuriating that the school isn’t doing anything.

Nice guy Saga Part 3Part 1 - Part 2 I still don’t entirely understand what he’s saying here. The lack of punctuation makes comprehension difficult. What I have gleamed is that he has decided to mansplain my sexuality to me. He decided I’m a lesbian who’s pretending to be straight but there’s nothing on my profile or in my questions where I have said I’ve ever had lesbian experiences. He also makes the faulty assumption that one sexual activity automatically changes your sexuality. A straight person of either sex can have sex with their own sex and still call themselves straight. It’s not the act that defines you it’s you and it’s your attraction.  There are celibate homosexuals, heterosexuals, asexuals, bisexuals and every-othersexual. Just because they haven’t had sex doesn’t mean they’re one thing or another, their attraction is based on what arouses them and not on the acts they have participated in.  I said this in part one but I would like to reiterate that I have no problem with lesbians, bisexuals and other non-straight people. I have a problem with someone who doesn’t know me telling me I’m something I’m no from having not met me and making shit up and starting shit with me. Also, I’m not crazy, I may be depressed, panicky and have anxiety sometimes but I’m not crazy. Dealing with this individual was first angering, then amusing and now I’m just tired of him. I hope this is the last time he’ll say anything to me and that i’ll be left alone seeing as how I haven’t responded. I like having the last word so setting him straight would be delightful, but he’s apparently incredibly dense and won’t listen to anything I say. I wash my hands of the entire affair, i’ll go back to my usual doubts and anxieties and I won’t think about this foolish person who seems to not know what he wants from me. I bet that if I had  calmly said ‘I’m neither bisexual nor a lesbian’ he would have told me I’m wrong. Did I fall into an argument with a troll, I think so. He was so quick to call me one that maybe he was trolling me. I don’t know. I hope he won’t say anything more to me because this entire situation was dumb. I’ve had an OKC account for a while and this is I think the second message I’ve gotten from a Nice Guy, but this one pissed me off. I’m actually a little annoyed with how much this guy upset me, but I wanted to share and document our interaction and mock him.

Up there are some screen grabs from his profile, and the response Is sent him, because fuck him. 

You all know I’m cool with gay people and equal rights for marriage, adoption and respect, because before someone’s sexuality they’re human. I don’t take kindly to being insulted, or feeling like I’m being insulted. I mean, this is his entire message, the fuck? Maybe I’m reading tone into it but I’ve never heard that stereotype, what does my bad vision had to do with who I find arousing? Why do I have to like girls because I’m fat? That’s in illogical and ignorant premise and that’s what makes me angry. 

He didn’t assume I wasn’t straight because of my interests, my dress or the usual stereotypes, he chose physical attributes that in no way would reflect sexuality. I don’t know why I’m so mad about this, but I will update with whatever response I get. 

I decided that since he was rude first, I’d be rude back. Juvenile? Quite so, does he deserve anything better? Not as far as I can tell. If I get a response I’ll post that and we’ll see what happens. Maybe he’ll leave me alone, then again, I may just block him, because I don’t have to put up with his shit. 

Last point:

This is not the first time people have assumed I wasn’t straight, most of the time it’s from people i kind of know and they’re not rude about it. People have also assumed I wasn’t female, that hasn’t happened to me face as often but it has happened. I generally question how I present myself, but this time it’s all on him.

Vanity

During my glass class the other night we were critiquing a coldworking project where we had to design a thing that should fit into some abstract negative space in the box. My box was an asshole and have varying depth levels on top of being abstract.

I cut my glass and I’m working at the final design. I want able to finish it for class on tuesday but Charlotte was interested in what I had during class, didn’t know what it was it where it was going, but it pretty much captivated her.

I boldly said “everything you just said about my box, that it’s interesting and you like it but you don’t know why, perfectly describes me” and people laughed.

I want going about teng to be serious, but even in jest I think that’s the most vain thing I’ve ever said.
