Epic Battle.
The Awesome Adventures of Ficusxander the Great and Limon Jazz pt. 3
We now meet up with out heroes on the next leg of their adventure. Read next the gripping conclusion to their long [it’s taken me three weeks to write it all i think] battle with Dramatis, and what wonders they face from here.
——
The pair were aching but their fight was almost finished. Blood gurgled from Dramatis’ mouth as the towering behemoth swayed from side to side. Ficusxander thrust the blade into the monster’s mouth once more this time taring it into a gruesome smile. Limon rapidly fired two arrows into the fresh would, they embedded themselves in his head, one lodged in his brain, the second poking out of the other side of his head
——
Dramatis’s body swayed before falling, almost falling on Ficusxander. The pair were finally able to breath a sigh of relief. Ficusxander made a face and took a dirty and torn table cloth to wipe the blood from his blade. The civilians still in the cafe came up from the debris and were thankful to be alive. The manager of the cafe looked around the mess and sighed.
——
The manager looked to the two adventurers cum heroes. She thanked them for killing Dramatis and voiced aloud her concerns over insurance and the damage. The pair eyed each other nervously, neither having near enough to cover the damage, and laughed uncertainly as they edged closer to the door hoping to get away before the manager wanted a fraction of their findings and makings for repairs.
——
After a short inquiry for wounds sustained during the fight with Dramatis, the pair decided it would behoove them to visit a healer before vacating the city. While walking, they heard people talking of a treasure that was being guarded by a reptilian beast. Ficusxander smiled and Limon Jazz agreed. They were going on a treasure hunt, as soon as errands were taken care of.
——
The pair decided to visit a mystic friend of theirs to get some extra details on the treasure they wanted to seek out. As things would have it, it wasn’t a reptilian best, but more of a Sasquatch, but that would be easier to take down. They paid the mystic, Gray Fox ,for her help before vacating the the small city with what they needed to make their little hike to the cave
——
The pair started off on a fairly uneventful trek to Guiardia where the mystic said the treasure was. The first two days were the usual, hunting small game for meals, and walking during the day. Midday on their third day the game was scarce and rank odor permeated the air. The pair wrapped spare cloths over their noses and continued onward having been warned.
——
Ficusxander the Great and Limon Jazz after another two days hike, now subsisting on packed food because there was no game to hunt, made it to their destination. A cave midway up a mountain in Guiardia had a large clearing round it’s entrance that looked to have been dug out by the Sasquatch they were after. They were used to the heavy odor of wet fur as they spent the day in the tree line, waiting, watching.
