I may have grown up with the first one but they’re both great for different reasons. I don’t remember if Disney ever modified the animation for movies before but I remember that for Pirates of the Caribbean they added a pirate ship to the river. A part of me likes to think that they’ll continue to do little Easter Eggs for more movies. 

And why the hell shouldn’t they update it to keep up with the newer technology. It’d be weird as shit to sit down to watch Tangled and it started with the 2D branding instead of the swanky 3D one.
